1. Agreement

By using Semestra, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. What Semestra provides

Semestra helps you organize your semester and generate lessons and quizzes from documents and links using AI. It also sends reminders you can manage in your device settings. Features may change over time.

3. Your account

• Keep your account details accurate and your login secure.
• You're responsible for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

• Only upload materials you have the right to use.
• Don't upload unlawful or harmful content, or disrupt the service.

5. Your content & AI results

You keep the rights to what you create, and grant us a limited license to host and process it to run the app. AI-generated lessons and quizzes can be inaccurate — treat them as study aids and check against your source material.

6. Subscriptions & payments

Premium is a paid subscription processed by our payment providers — Stripe or Paystack — under their terms. Pricing is shown before you pay and taxes may apply. New accounts include a free trial; unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription begins and renews automatically for the period you chose until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account, effective at the end of the current billing period. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Termination

You can stop using Semestra at any time. We may suspend access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms.

8. Disclaimer & liability

Semestra is provided “as is,” without warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost data, to the extent the law allows.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes, and continued use means you accept them.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, where Semestra is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own country.
